Dr. Fox, a native of New York, NY, is one of only a handful of physicians who hold a medical as well as a law degree. He completed his internship, residency and cardiology fellowship at UMDNJ in Hackensack, NJ.
Dr. Fox is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. Dr. Fox is also licensed in nuclear medicine in the State of Florida. Dr. Fox was the former Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Sarasota Memorial Hospital (SMH) from 1999-2005, and is currently chairman of the Department of Cardiology at SMH for the third time in his career.
He was voted physician of the year at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in 2012
Dr. Pacifico, a native of Verona New Jersey, completed his training from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in 1990. He completed his internship, residency and cardiology fellowship at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Pacifico is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. Dr. Pacifico is a former section chief in cardiology at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
A University of Notre Dame alumnus, Dr. Pacifico is still a big supporter of the Fighting Irish.
Dr. Heckendorn, a native of Romeo, MI completed his training from Michigan State University in 2013. He completed his internal medicine residency at Manatee Memorial Hospital, and his cardiology fellowship at Ascension Macomb Hospital in Warren, MI.
Dr. Heckendorn is board certified in cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He is board eligible in interventional cardiology.
A professed lifetime Spartan, Dr. Heckendorn participated in lacrosse while at Michigan State, but has traded in his lacrosse gear for golf clubs at this point in his life.
Dr. Espinosa Ginic, a native of Caracas, Venezuela is the newest member of the Florida Cardiac team. Dr. Espinosa Ginic completed his residency, cardiology and electrophysiology (EP) fellowships at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. He joined Florida Cardiac Consultants in November of 2021 after 6 years of successful practice at Ascension Saint Thomas Heart in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. Espinosa Ginic is board certified in cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology (EP). He specializes in the comprehensive management of abnormal heart rhythms, and performs a wide variety of procedures including complex catheter ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, and Watchman.
He grew up spending his summers in Southwest Florida with his family. He enjoys doing outdoor activities with his wife and children, fishing, water sports and music.
Dr. Lima, a native of Long Island, NY completed his training at Stony Brook University School of Medicine in 2016. He completed his internal medicine internship, residency, cardiology fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship at Brown University. He completed advanced training in Structural Interventional Cardiology from the University of California San Francisco Medical Center in 2024.
Dr. Lima is board certified in cardiovascular disease and board eligible in interventional cardiology. Additionally, Dr. Lima holds certifications in both coronary and peripheral rotational, orbital, and laser atherectomy, as well as intravascular lithotripsy.
Dr. Lima is an avid follower of European soccer leagues, spends time sailing when he can get out on the water, and enjoys a good wine tasting when he gets the chance. Dr. Lima is also fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, enhancing his ability to connect with diverse patient populations.
Dr. Blake Singletary, a lifelong Floridian, completed his training at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014. He completed his internal medicine residency at Largo Medical Center in 2017, and his cardiology fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship at USF/HCA West Florida in 2021.
Dr. Singletary is board certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology. Dr. Singletary has a clinical passion for both vascular and coronary endovascular interventions, as well as resource efficient management of heart failure.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Singletary enjoys casting his fly rod for redfish off the Longboat Key flats or cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning. Dr. Singletary has a goal to visit every single National Park in the United States with his family.
